Evergreen
I worked some more on the group of evergreens on the right side of the wall. The landscape seems to develop on it's own. Once I finish an element, I start to visualize something else to add. The rocky slope will lend itself to the whole wall and I want to incorporate more boulders into this slope. It's hard to know where I should end the downward progress of the painting on this side, since a large part of the wall will be covered up with structure, but I will know when I get there. I'm looking forward to getting on ground level for painting; I think it will go quicker when I reach that point; at least I'm envisioning setup as easier; possibly just wheeling a cart out of the storage room to work. When that is the case, I hope to paint on more weeknights in addition to the weekends. I'm taking my deadline of the beginning of school seriously; I want to be finished with the mural by then and begin the structure "year". I've already started planning some techniques to try out to create the landscape. But, must finish the mural first....next time I'll try and wrap up this side of the wall!
