Rock Wall is done!

A push last weekend and a few evenings throughout the week and the wall is, for the most part, finished. There will be adjustments and touch-ups after the animals and vegetation are added, but it's time to move on.

Deprived of my structural engineer (Bob) this weekend, I concentrated on the background mural. Working my way steadily across the pond and roughing in the rocky hillside on the right of the pond. There are parts I love and parts that still need work, but, all in all, I'm satisfied with the weekend's effort.

Very proud of all the kids that have been hunting down interesting facts for the wall; I stopped by the library yesterday and picked up another batch to add to the growing list. I will update our fact page on this website and hang a new list at the library this week. Keep up the good work!
